  • Just to note, while our site is in it’s beta version at the moment, posts in the particular group are still appearing in the main site’s public “Feed”. However, as the site’s content grows, the ready to launch feature “Relevant to me” will be turned on and then every user will only see the “Feed” that is completely personalized, per YOUR specification – by default private.

    NOTE: However, any and all posts and comments within the groups that are already set to “Private“, will be only visible to the members of such groups and ONLY THEN they will appear in the site’s main “feed” and ONLY if your are logged on.

    Cons and Pros of building elevated tracks for high speed trains.
    What are the costs of building and, as important, maintenance for elevated vs. grounded tracks?
    How reliable are the tracks on the ground over the long term usage vs. elevated ones?
    Are there any secondary uses of elevated tracks? For example, as and instead of the regular power lines?

    Maglev is a system in which the vehicle runs levitated from the guide
    way (corresponding to the rail tracks of conventional railways) by using
    electromagnetic forces between superconducting magnets onboard the
    vehicle and coils on the ground (Link)
